Join us for the readings of 2 plays for performance, steeped in modern revolutionary
Mexican punk rock, Cumbia, and just a little strychnine to make it
all kick in a little faster... Two brand new works written in
Southern Mexico looking at the sad,
strange, broken heart of the North American dream, "Pavement," a
performance piece on the geographies of culture in Phoenix, and "Dry
Rot," a performance work on the myth of the North American family in
a state of disintegration, in search of a new simulacrum in an age of
cardboard, moldy heroes, where
the divine is a she and she has a sister, and they know where you live...
