December is here, the Holidays are upon us. It is a time when not only Christians exchange presents, but people of many faiths, and no particular faith at all. This year, to celebrate our love for all mankind, The Trunk Space is having a special show of fine contemporary art, and fine crafts called “The Gift Art Show.”
All of the art will be under $100.00! Why buy over-priced plastic junk from The Big Box Stores when for less money, you can give better to your loved ones. We will feature many one of a kind gifts made buy some of the best contemporary artists in Arizona.
Not only will we be showing paintings, and photography, but also ceramics, art prints, T-Shirts, custom made wooden puzzles, hand crafted whips & ticklers, CDs by local musicians, even custom made Lego Characters! “Our plan is to have the widest variety of interesting products that we can find. We are lucky that Phoenix has such a great variety of quality artists and artisans.” Says The Trunk Space’s JRC.
Some of the art & artists featured will be: Cheesecake pinups by Jeff Harris, Mugs & other ceramics by Julian Vandercook & Alan Jones, Photography and lots of original art by Larry Lopresti, Lisa Takata, Susan Copeland, Michele Bledsoe, Bob Buechler, and many many others. If someone you love loves creativity and original art, there will be something for them at The Trunk Space in December.
The Trunk Space will also be open extended hours and by appointment to make Holiday gift giving easier all December long.
The Trunk Space will be open Wed-Fri all month long, From 5PM to 10PM. We will open at 12 Noon on Saturdays until 10PM. We are located at 1506 NW Grand Ave, just north of the Grand Ave & Roosevelt intersection, next to the Bikini Lounge.
The Trunk Space is proud to be a member of Arizona Chain Reaction (www.azcr.org), a Phoenix based organization that encourages Arizonan’s to buy locally produced products from locally owned businesses."
