Tassels Will Travel!" There was such an overwhelming response to the show last year, we couldn't resist when Angel asked to make us the last stop on her US Tour!.
"Have Tassels Will Travel" is an oral history about the world of Burlesque, as told by a woman who lived thru it. Cece Walker, AKA Satan's Angel The Devil's Mistress,? toured the US and the world while spinning her flaming tassels and living the life legends are made of.
This play is a bluntly honest memior: The a life of the burlesque dancer who set the world aflame with her beauty, humor and style. Told by the woman who lived it, Cece Walker brings authenticity to this story no professional actress could muster.
Her story will open your eyes and touch your heart: from running with the Rat Pack to the drug addiction that nearly cost her life, this show covers all the highs and lows! From a small town girl living off $200.00 a month, to The Woman that played The Follies Bergere, toured with Bob Hope, and took famous lovers like Bobby Darrin & Clint Eastwood!
Although this play is billed as a One Woman Show, it also features 2 guest dancers who will portray Satan's Angel at different ages.
Lollita Haze (who runs her own Burlesque Review) will perform as Angel at 21. Another living legend of burlesque, Isis Starr will dance as the 40 year old retiring Angel.
This play will run 3 nights: Doors open at 8PM on Thursday May26th, Friday May 27th, & Saturday May 28th. The cost is just $10.00 perticket, available on-line at http://www.thetrunkspace.com,/ and at the door night of show.
