HandMade is an annual art exhibit with an accompanying book going that is now on its second year. With that, CoproNason presents “Handmade ll, Tattoo Art Exhibition” featuring Tattoo machines and Tattoo Art. This show will feature Tattoo artists who take the art of Tattoo one step further such as machine building, metalworking, sculpture and painting.
This year's book (7 x 10 Hard Back, 120 pages) will feature over 90 artists, some from as far away as Finland, France, Argentina, Germany, Spain, Thailand, and Ukraine. Many of them will be present at the artist reception to sign the book along their artwork and tattoo machines will be on display.
Coinciding with the HandMade exhibition is Mike Leavitt's hand-sculpted Art Army® " Juxta-posers" with over 20 new original 10 inch tall Artist Action figures. This sculpture exhibit of original fully-posable "Juxta-posers" will draw from the oldest to the newest names in the Alternative Art World: Luke Cheuh, Joe Ledbetter, Thomas Han, Ron English, Natalia Fabia, Neckface, Sas Christian, Shag, Tim Biskup, Lori Earley, Shepard Fairey, Frank Kozik, Gary Baseman, Von Dutch, Robert Williams, Kathy Staico Schorr, among others. United they will be an assembly of a real life Art Army.
HandMade II and Mike Leavitt's ArtArmy "Juxta-Posers" will be on exhibit from April 22 through May 6, 2006. An opening reception will be held on Saturday April 22, 2006 from 8:00pm to 11:30pm.
