"Land of the Free, We're Free of Moderation" CLICK ON PHOTO FOR DESCRIPTION!! - C Johnson-West (ccwest)
Title : Land of The Free, We're Free of Moderation" (Excerpt from the series "The Seven American Sins" - gluttony)
Date : entire series due by 1/05
Description: : Derived from the Latin word 'gluttire' which means "To Swallow". Outside of food; Religion, Drugs and Alcohol are the classic American overindulgences, they all swallow the money, sanity and life of the human race. Though the Government preaches moderation or abstinence, they are kneeling in their closets praying you do not heed their advice, otherwise their profits go down the drain.

I LOVE and agree with the description, but didn't see a clear translation to the photo. I guess an overweight druggy holding a banner for Jesus is what most comes to mind for me. In our tolerant country we tolerate the intolerable. Some say that we have gone too far in our tolerance, that "we" allow poor food quality to be sold with addictive chemicals that create a craving for more until we are obese and then we go to our friendly attorney to sue the perpetrators. Gluttony goes full circle!
