VIDEO EDITOR/PRODUCER NEEDED! - Pro Bono for the WM3

Hello,

I need to find a quality video editor/producer capable of converting DV to digital for onilne clips, as well as mixing video with finished audio to create a professional-quality product.

The best part is, I need it for free.

This project is for the West Memphis Three (www.wm3.org).

How Much Footage:
Well, there's 10 full DV tapes, some of which is a second camera filming the same event from a different angle.

How Long:
I'm not really sure. I guess it all depends on how much of it turned out usable. In an ideal situation I'd love a double-DVD, one per evening. But I have no concept of the scope of work or production expense (media, distribution etc) for that sort of idea.

How many web clips:
max of 4, one full performance piece in length each. Not sure which performances yet since I haven't seen the footage.

Deadline:
I need to get the DV tapes themselves off to HBO as soon as possible, so I at least need to get them copied to data format quickly so we don't need them anymore. What kind of storage space are we talking about for 10 full DV tapes?

Finished product deadline? There really isn't one, specifically because I'm begging for free work. With finished audio being done by others, I will at least have usable MP3 tracks to throw around fairly quickly, the video can take as much time as it has to. Ideally, I'd like to at least have it done and sellable at NEXT YEARs WM3 World Awareness Day event, tentatively scheduled for September or October 2006.
