I wanted to write a quick note to let you know your "Cor Sanctum" T-shirt
prevented a potential fight between me and three soccer hooligans.
Since purchasing it, I have been assigned to US Armed Forces Europe. In the
town we now live in, there is a festival that involves a lot of drinking.
In order to control the situation, barriers have been erected throughout the
downtown area, where my wife (pregnant) and child (not even two yet), and I
are staying in a hotel until we move into a house.
On my way home from work, I pulled up to a barrier that was passable for
local traffic. Well, these three seriously tough looking, mid
thirty-year-old hooligans actually blocked me and pointed the opposite way I
came! I think after a few gallons of beer they became self appointed hall
monitors. I was pissed. Nothing...and I mean NOTHING will ever come between
me and my little family.
I shut off the engine, got out of the car, and walked up to the barrier and
the three stooges. My Marine inside had come out. They were surprised to say
the least. Then two of them pointed to my shirt and said, "Sacre Coeur,"
gave me the thumbs up, and moved the barrier ALL the way off the street!
