Hello and welcome to the first ARTish newsletter. ARTish has unveiled a new bimonthly online magazine to go along with the site. Below is the text from our first press release. To download a full size image of the flyer for print and to distribute yourself, please go here:

ARTish Tip :: To make sure your name appears in google searches make sure that you set your gallery title to be your real name and also, make sure you have your real name set in your account.
To do this make sure you are logged in and ::
1. Click on the "Your Account" link in the menu
2. Click on the "Change Info" button
3. Verify the "Real Name" field is set to your real name, if it is not,
change it and click the SAVE button at the bottom.
4. Next click on the "Your Gallery" link
5. From the admin drop down menu in the upper right corner, select the
option "Properties"
6. Verify the "Album Title" field is set to your "Real Name", if it is not,
change it and click the APPLY button at the bottom.
Doing this will maximize the potential of your name appearing in google and
other search engines.

ARTish.org presents ARTish the MAGAZINE

ARTISH.ORG – FREEDOM FOR ART!
ARTish.org, Phoenix Metro’s ART website presents ARTish the MAGAZINE, an online multimedia publication featuring articles on a variety of subjects written by members of the local arts community. Issue #1 features twelve articles, including chronicles on the Phoenix Film Festival, Alpha Monsters artist collective, the Phoenix Creative Music Movement and an account on the origins of First Friday.
WHAT IS ARTish?
ARTish.org is a new website with over 160 registered members who utilize a multitude of free features. Artists can upload photos and videos of their work in their personal image galleries. Musicians and bands have the ability to host mp3s for streaming and download. The discussion forums foster dialogue and critique for our growing arts community while the local events calendar provides listings of art related events in the valley.
Most importantly ARTish is looking for new and active members to contribute their art and ideas to the site. Sign up at ARTish.org to create your own profile!
We are also currently seeking sponsorship and donations to help support future development of the site. Contact sponsorship@artish.org for sponsorship opportunities.
ARTish exists to provide empowerment to the art scene in the Phoenix Metro area. ARTish was developed and is maintained by Tony Ash but is not one person or entity; it is the collective cooperation and participation of the arts community which determines the direction and potential of the site. ARTish introduces opportunities where none currently exist. ARTish is and will remain free for artists so that they may showcase and sell their artwork to the largest possible audience, expand their opportunities for informative dialogue and deepen their involvement with the larger artworld.
