Urban Affair 30-Sec Film Challenge  Reply with quote

Almost Famous Film Festival and Adrenaline Marketing are proud to
announce the official kick-off of the Urban Affair 30-Sec Film
Challenge or UA30 taking place September 1-3, 2006.

This widely-anticipated and completely original event combines the
mad-dash, exhilarating approach of a 48 Hour Challenge with the more
traditional 30-second commercial format. Teams will have just 2
days to write a script, film and edit their 30-second ads.

Sound easy? Think 30-seconds is a piece of cake after just wrapping
up your latest short film or feature? Well, we have added a twist
or two that will certainly challenge your team and test its ability
to be organized, efficient and of course, create an award-winning
30-second commercial spot!

We have also included some impressive cash prizes, giveaways and a
very cool accolade for the Top 10 ads -- a half hour show on COX 7.
Yes, your 48 hours of hard work and sleepless nights could land your
commercial on TV!

And as the UA30 will be run by the same folks who bring you the A3F
each year, you can expect a first-class event and an overall
experience that will make your efforts more than worthwhile.

For more information about the UA30, please visit the official site
at <http://www.urbanaffairaz.com/http://www.urbanaffairaz.com/ and
click on UA30. Or you can access the site from the A3F at
<http://www.theA3F.net/www.theA3F.net. Registering your team can
be done online or by mail.

Questions about the UA30, simply send an email to Jae, the Director
of the UA30 at <mailto:jae@ballboy.netjae@ballboy.net.

Also, for those of you who have not added your name to the A3F
Community Mailing List, this would be a great opportunity to do so.
You can use this mailing list to talk to other filmmakers in the
valley and beyond about the UA30 or any project you might have in
the works. It's also a great way to find actors, crew members or
teams to join for those of you looking to be apart of the commercial
challenge or next year's A3F.
