As the group intro. reads:

"Arizona Experimental Music

A place for Experimental Musicians of any and all Genre to communicate and trade ideas.

If you keep wondering how you can find the latest Japanese noise cd or get excited at finding an old oil drum, can't leave any toy that makes noise unbent or have more samples on cd than actual music - This is the place for you."

Experimental MUSICIANS OR PERFORMANCE ARTISTS NEEDED!  Reply with quote

CALL FOR SOUND/PERFORMANCE ARTIST(S)

Opportunity for sound/performance artist(s) to
accompany Four-Artist Installation called Personal
Refuge at the Ice House in Downtown Phoenix on 2/4/05
from 6-10 PM. The outside courtyard from 50x100' will
be available for that night while the visual art will
be right inside.

The installation scheduled joins, sister/brother
artist team, Alex and Amze Emmons with Kjell Alkire
and Tony Ash. We are exploring aspects of reliquory to
physical architecture, they incorporate video, print,
and digital tools to envision different aspects of
human, private space.

We are looking for an artist who explores or is
interested in exploring personal refuge in one
performance or series of performances from 6-10 PM. It
is in an unusal industrial setting. This would be most
appropriate for an approach that enjoys the subtleties
of this theme and in their own work.

Please respond to alexemmons@yahoo.com or reply to this post for more details.
