 Anonymous writes " Professional artists are invited to submit materials for selection to be published in International Contemporary Masters 2009,
an international art book edited and published by Omma Center of Contemporary Art. www.omma.us Artists should apply by sending at least 5 JPG images by email or their website address.
If the artist is selected, will be notified within 3 working days.
Place and availability in the book are subject to quality.
If you are accepted you can choose to present your art in one-page, two-pages, three pages, four-pages or five pages.
Submit free for selection. Our art committee will review all submissions and make decisions on acceptance.
After notification of acceptance an inclusion fee is required.

Anonymous writes "Burton Barr Central Library is seeking submissions for 2008 from artists for its @Central Gallery, located on the first floor at 1221 N. Central Ave. Proposals are being accepted for solo and group exhibitions from artists residing in Arizona, 18 years or older and not currently represented by a gallery. Artists may submit up to 10 images in slide or digital format following the prospectus instructions. Works previously exhibited in @Central Gallery in the past two years are not eligible for submission. The submission fee is $15. Deadline for submission is Monday, Oct. 15. Turntable/Record/Sound Installation

Sean Duffy‚s newest installation, The Grove, seeks to gather people in a participatory and performative experience.
The Grove consists of multiple turntables, each linked to
numerous speakers suspended from the ceiling. A selection
of albums by instrumental and vocal performers at each
turntable allows participants to interactively change the
sound environment. With close to 400 speakers, the installation creates a canopy of sound from a collective-community orchestration of ever-evolving musical compositions.
This exhibition is co-organized by Julie Joyce, Director, Luckman Gallery at California State University, Los Angeles, and John Spiak, Curator, Arizona State University Art Museum.
This project is made possible in part by Stinkweeds Music (Phoenix), Modified Arts (Phoenix), an Artists‚ Resource for Completion grant from the Durfee Foundation (Los Angeles), and Friends of the ASU Art Museum.
